Scouting and Guiding groups

We offer heavily reduced prices for a session for Scouts and Guides and similar volunteer-led groups. We can work with you to provide a session that is relevant for any badges the children are working towards. For more information about each session type see our Birthday parties page.

Beavers and Rainbows

We would generally recommend a Freebuilding session for Beavers or Rainbows.

A ‘Build a town’ group activity

A ‘Build a town’ group activity

Cubs and Brownies

Freebuilding works well for these groups, and we can suggest a theme or challenge to fit any badge work.

Minifigure Fling also works well with leaders and helpers involved with supporting the younger or less confident members of the group.

Building a story scene

Building a story scene

Scouts and Guides

Whizzers works well with these groups and we make sure that they understand the basics of ‘gearing up’ and ‘gearing down’ at the end of the session. We can also look at other Technic-based builds and simple machines.

Minifigure Fling also works well.

With either of these sessions the groups also get a chance to do some freebuilding.

Other community and non-profit groups

We work with a range of community groups in different ways. We can provide LEGO™ sessions for disadvantaged communities, set up a LEGO™ play area or run a themed workshop to go with an event, or work with the group to provide a Fundraiser. If you’d like to discuss how we could work together, get in touch!

Examples include:

A regular monthly open LEGO™ session in Easton, Bristol

Providing an architectural-themed workshop at a historical celebration in Bridgwater

Supporting LEGO™ play days for children with additional needs for Incredible Kids in Bristol and other similar groups

Working with Theatre Shop in Clevedon to provide activities and raise funds

Setting up The LEGO™ tent with badge activities for a regional Cubs event

Providing an activity for an over-50’s social event
